I chose Bob Stark from robotics, he is the Mentor that watches all of as to do what we have to do and help as with what ever we need help with. For example, he talk about what we are going to build and he draw the descriptions of how we are going to do it. I've learned a lot from him, he thought me that I have to wear safety goggles before going in the lab were there's a lots of different machines. Also, I learned how to screw metal cut a board with the machines and those machines are very dangerous, it could cut your whole hand off. So we all need to be very careful when we go there. I have applied his advice and guidance to my own life because I help build some current stuff and we all bring ideas to build it.
I Chose this young girl named Maleeka from a book i read called "The Skin I'm in". A novel by Sharon G Flake. I chose Maleeka because she is a nice girl and the main character in the book. However, everyone makes fun of how she dresses and her skin color. Which is racism, against someone of a different race based on such a belief. I applied this to life because when I was in 4th grade some people use to make fun of me and I didn't like that, so I try to violate too. This book teaches me how some people in this world can really mean and racist. And one thing " life Is Not Fair ".
